Villa Tugendhat 12 km

The functionalist Villa Tugendhat has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001. The villa itself is the work of the famous German architect Mies van der Rohe and is considered a building that has determined the new face of modern living. In the years 2010 to 2012, the villa underwent a complete reconstruction, which cost a total of 156 million CZK.

According to a legend, in the castle complex there is a treasure of the Templars containing 12 silver statues of the apostles, originally brought to the Czech lands by Prince Břetislav I. from the campaign in Poland. In 1996, the area was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
